So, how does a follow up game to something so widely and well regarded hold up in comparison to the original? That’s the question I knew I’d be asking when I got my creaky joints on Hand of Fate 2. Then I got looking and boy did I discover something special. I was probably lured in by the ol’ Rogue-Like tag, if I’m being completely honest. So back in 2015 when these ol’ bones decided to exchange my hard earned dollars for a game called Hand of Fate by a studio named Defiant Development I’ll be the first to admit I hadn’t the foggiest idea what I was getting myself into. Now I am sure most of you folks know by now that I ain’t too shy about letting people know what kind of games I play. ![]() ![]() This really is a source of infinite fun for users of Android smartphones and tablets. Terraria is one of the most comprehensive and fun Windows games and it's now available in a virtually identical version for Android. TerraMap is an interactive Terraria v1.4.4 world map viewer that loads quickly and lets you pan, zoom, find blocks, ores, items in chests, dungeons, NPCs, etc. Not to mention the five top bosses that add a twisted new level of difficulty to this sandbox. Of course, many of the elements you create are designed to serve as defense mechanisms against the seventy different types of monsters you'll find scattered around the map. ![]() Plus you can design and build your own unique structures, like houses or towers. Picks, shovels, swords, and armors are just a few of the over 200 different items available for you to forge. Inspect chests and signs with right-click. Grab building materials from your surroundings to keep a fully stocked inventory of resources, then create all kinds of gadgets. Pan and zoom maps with full game textures and lighting applied (textures require a local Terraria installation). Here, you can interact with your surroundings in any way you want, much like you would in Minecraft.
